8/30 Fished with Bobber 6:15am to 9am 3 for 3. Checked water temps with Tom's Fish Hawk to see if it was reading similar to mine.
It was closer to readings we took a week ago. I checked mine at dock after we were done fishing and had similar readings.

went 4 for 6 on Lakers. Fish were scattered through water column. We marked a lot of fish, did not entice very many to bite. Put
down Fish Hawk to check temps and the temps were colder than they had been maybe due to heavy winds Sunday. All fish caught

8/26 Charter aboard KBF with the Kornbluth clan Asher, Lisa, Jesse, Benji, Saundra, Max. 6am to 10am. With conversations with
Lisa leading up to this trip, she was concerned about getting everyone up and to the boat by 6am. Everyone made it and they all
looked awake and ready to go. The fish did not co-operate as well as I was hoping , but we managed to get a fish for all the kids
aboard and had several hits that did not stay hooked up. Most hit on deep downrigger set 60' to 110' down.
8/25 Charter aboard KBF with Peter & Tomas Ercolani again today. 6am to 10am. Thunderstorms & rain from 2am to 5:30am,

other fish that went 4lbs +/-. Most of the action was on the deep downrigger with Flashers & Flies. Peter had tied up a few flies and
brought them along and we caught a 3 1/2 lb Lakers on a Dodger & the fly on 3 colors of lead core.
8/24 Charter aboard KBF with Peter & Tomas Ercolani 6am to 10am. Windy most of the trip. Tomas boated 3 Lakers and we had 3

8/21 Fished with Bobber 5:30am to 7:15am. Overcast all night so the moon was not bright . Rain at 7am must have made a
difference or the fish finally got hungry. We went 9 for 11 in 1 3/4 hours. Most fish came on downriggers set 45' to 55' with
Flashers & Flies.
8/20 Charter aboard KBF with Alan, Lisa, Philip, Andrew & Natalie Schoen. 6am to 10am. The lockjaw syndrome of yesterday
continued today only worse. We went 1 for 3. I tried bait behind Flashers, Dodgers and cowbells, plus our normal setups. Two hit on
the f1ies , 1 on cowbells with bait behind them as we were picking up at the end of the trip.
8/19 Charter aboard KBF with Chris, Lara & Michell Macumber. 6am to 10am. The fish developed lockjaw overnight. We went 3 for
4 with 1 of the fish being too small to keep. Threw just about everything but the tackle box at them, but to no avail.
8/18 Fished KBF 5:30 to 8:30am. Went 9 for 14. All Lakers to 5 1/2lbs. Kept 2 for dinner and 3 for the smoker. Dipsy rods were
most active today with 80' to 120' of wire out. Spin Doctor & Flies, downriggers 40' to 80' down Flashers & Flies.
8/17 Worked back of boat for Bobber charter 6am to 10am High pressure & clear skies greeted us this AM. We had 1 hit before all
the lines were set and then nothing until 7am or so. After that things picked up and we went 9 for 12 , all Lakers and most of them
from 90' to 120' down on downrigger poles with Flashers & Flies or peanuts.
8/16 Charter aboard KBF with the Straus clan 6am to 10 am The fish were more cooperative today, we went 11 for 13 with several
3 1/2 to 4 lbs. The fish hit the Dipsy Spin Doctor Fly Combo early at 90' to 120' of wire out. As the overcast broke up, we went
deeper with the downrigger and continued to get hits from 90' to 110' down on Flasher & Flies.
8/15 Worked back of boat for Bobber charter 6am to 10am. The stuff that worked yesterday was junk today. We went 4 for 10 with
the fish just tapping the lures. You had to pay close attention to the poles or you would miss the hit. Most of the fish lost were at
the back of the boat just out of net range so we saw most of them. Flashers & Flies.
8/14 Charter aboard KBF with Don Lapp 6am to 10am. Fishing was slow again today, but we were able to land 7 fish and Don kept 1
to have for dinner. Most of the fish came off downrigger poles set 90' to 110' down.
8/13 Worked back of boat for Bobber charter 6am to 10am. Fishing was SLOW. We had 4 hits and got 2 fish to the boat. One almost
legal and the other was 3 1/2 to 4 lbs. We marked a lot of fish & bait, but they were not together and the fish we marked had lockjaw.
8/12 Charter aboard KBF with Richard Cooper & Family Reunion 6am to 10am. Party was too big to go on 1 boat so we split it up
with the Bobber boat . Both boats boated 10 fish apiece with Bobber's crew keeping 6 and KBF crew kept 7. Biggest fish was a 6 1/2
to 7lb Laker caught by the KBF crew.
8/11 Worked back of boat for Bobber Charter 6am to 10am. Cooler this AM, 56F and windy. Gusts to 25 mph also high pressure
moved in. The fish had moved north towards Two Mile Point and it took awhile to find the bait and fish. We went 6 for 10, keeping 4
Lakers. 2 on Dipsy diver set with 180' wire the rest on downriggers set at 60' to 110' down.
8/10 Worked back of boat for Bobber Charter 6am to 10am. We went 6 for 10 with Lakers bigger than the last few days in the 22" to
23" range. We marked more bait and fish. The fish around bait seemed to bite better than those not around bait. Most of the fish
came from 60' to 90' down.

8/8 Charter aboard KBF with Walt VanZile and kids Sam & Zach and Rich Afflitto and kids Andrew & Ben. Still not able to get all
the fish we have on into the boat. We had at least 12 to 14 hits and starts but only got 6 fish in the boat and only 3 of them were
keepers. It seemed we could get a hit on almost anything I tried, but that was it, not many repeat hits on lures. Fished south of
Snug Harbor, marked a lot of fish between 40' & 60' & 100' and bottom.
8/7 Charter aboard KBF with Bill & Joanne Norden, and daughter Tammy & grandson, Chase. 6am to 10am. Had rubber hook
syndrome for awhile until we finally started getting fish in the boat. We went 7 for 14 only keeping 2 Lakers. All the fish boated
were on the small side. We had hold of some fish that felt & fought better, but couldn't get them to the boat. Most of the fish caught
came on downrigger rods with Flasher and Trout Killer set 60' to 110' down.

8/5 Charter aboard KBF with Tom Kibler, his son, Ben, and Joe & Kelli 6am to 10am. The Laker catching was slow this morning with
the crew going 4 for 5 on the lakers. We had another Rainbow 24" on the lead core that Joe got to the boat. We fished up to Two
Mile Point , marked fish, but they were not cooperating. The crew went home with 2 lakers and the Rainbow.

went off and young Kevin was fast to his first Rainbow Trout. It was 22 1/2" long and hit a Rapala Shad-Rap with 3 colors of lead out.
The crew went on to go 11 for 13 with fish coming in the second 2 hours a lot better then early. 2 fish on Dipsy rods and the rest on

10/1 Did not fish forecast was for 44F, 15 to 25mph gusts to 35mph out of the north and rain. Had a charter scheduled, but I called
the party and canceled due to weather conditions. I would rather have a client upset with me because I canceled due to weather than
to take the party out and have them not enjoy themselves because of cold, wet and rough water conditions.
