We are back on Keuka and having a great summer season!

Hello from Sunny Florida! December 2010
We have only fished one day this fall down here due to weather and a busy schedule. We spent Thanksgiving in Hawaii with our
youngest son and family and have just returned from a Christmas cruise with our oldest son and family.
On the cruise, we went fishing in Cozumel, Mexico aboard the 32' Marlin Rayado with Capt. Martin and Mate Alberto. The weather
was very overcast and windy, a very sloppy boat ride. We were aboard with 3 other people: Smitty, Carl and Jim. Smitty & Carl were
shipmates of ours from the Carnival Freedom and Jim was from the Carnival Liberty. The mate set up a rotation of 10 minutes
in the chair than switch until someone caught a fish, then that person was out. We were into the second rotation and had not had a hit.
Mary finally pulled out her straw fishing hat and immediately, Smitty had a fish on and in the boat. As the rotation continued
everyone, but Jim was able to get a fish in the boat. We told him he had to stay in the chair until he got it right. After another two
misses, Jim finally landed a fish, which happened to be the biggest fish of the trip. As the last fish was put in the cooler our fishing time
had run out and we had to head back to port, a very bumpy 35 minute ride.
Everyone had a good time. The fish caught were barracuda from 12 lbs to 30lbs. We put some pics in the Gallery.
Until next time.....

plug it had in its mouth hooked on the outside of the net and that was the end of that fish, Gone!! Real bad
because it was a 10 to 12 lb Brown trout! We were able to get 5 more Lakers in the boat, most on deep
